The police officer directing traffic tried to get the car to stop. The driver of the car, however, had different plans and proceeded through the intersection. The traffic cop, frustrated, I am sure, at being a traffic cop AND at being ineffective, pounded his fist on the hood of the moving car and exclaimed, "I said stop!", but to no avail. A young and beautiful Asian American woman waiting to cross the street excitedly blurted out, "SHOOT HIM!" Another woman in the crowd repeated the words and laughed. The gorgeous Asian American woman's husband quietly inquired, "did you just say, "shoot him"?" To which the exquisite woman replied, "um. Yes. It was in the heat of the moment. My life isn't very exciting." No shots were fired. The traffic cop was more successful stopping the next vehicle. Everyone safely crossed the street.
Boring.
