I get out of bed and take Nyquil (I think I am getting a cold! Very sniffly and sneezy. Hopefully it is just allergies but it feels different). And then I lay back down and try to sleep. And then when that doesn't work I watch the rest of the Designing Women episode where they plan the funeral for their friend who has AIDS. And when that doesn't put me to sleep I get out of bed and go downstairs and read stuff on the internet. And then I watch a show on The Learning Channel about a family that has a set of twins and a set of sextuplets. And then I decide that maybe I am hungry so I go to the fridge to get a snack. I find dill pickles and leftover pizza. And then while I watch the show about a family with a million kids and only two births, I say a little prayer that I am eating pickles and pizza because we don't have any other food and not because I'm knocked up with an almost-baseball team.
Let's hope my late night snack will mean really messed up dreams for when I fall asleep before the sun rises. That's always a good time.
