Restore the Roar!!!!!!!

Somehow the Tigers made it to the post season for the first time since 1987. Jesse and I went to the game last night and it had to have been one of the most exciting games I have ever been to. I don't think I have ever seen the crowd so in to the game. We loved the Tigers with all our might, we hated the Yankees with just as much passion. Kenny Rogers was like a man possessed but not in a "I'm going to beat up a reporter way." Much more of a "the Yankees are MINE" way. He wanted this game and he worked his ass off to get it. 8 hard-earned strikeouts. I almost got teary-eyed when he was done, although that could have been because I am sick and hanging out in 50 degree weather for a few hours was making me want to cry. Let's just hope the Tigs can wrap this series up this afternoon.

Congrats to the Oakland A's. I'm a little sad that my boyfriend, Rondell White, is done for the season but a sweep is almost always exciting!

For those of you who follow the Tigers, this blog is a fun one to read. One of my favorite quotes from yesterday was Ernie Harwell talking about coming back to call the second inning.
"I don't want people to think of this as a comeback," said Harwell, who is retired from his longtime radio job. "It's just a cameo. I hope people will accept me."

We accept you Ernie. We accept you.
