it's like a club. for losers.

Since getting the new camera I find myself checking out all the other cameras around me. This week I found out I'm not the only one who does this because several people have commented on my camera. I think the strangest instance was when I walked into a restaurant and was putting the camera in my bag and the hostess said, "I'm so jealous of your camera!" Wha? Huh? I just wanted a bloody mary! But I stood there and talked SLR talk with her because that's what I do now. Talk about my camera. I'm an official member of the club.

I haven't been very creative with it yet and have mostly used the automatic settings. One of my favorite things is the sports mode where you hold down the button and the shutter goes "click click click click click" really fast (that's the technical explanation).
