September has been really busy. I'm thinking that it would have been a good idea to do some stuff that required thinking over the summer. All of a sudden I have to read books and think about them and then write about what I think about them and it is hard. Really hard. In my defense, I did read all of War & Peace this summer. But I didn't really have to think much until the last part of the book and even then, I didn't think that hard because nobody was going to make me write a paper about it. So, yeah...while the relaxing and having fun this summer was great, perhaps it was too relaxing and fun.
My internship has been pretty good so far. Much of the time I'm not sure what I'm doing but at least I'm doing something. And I've already seen myself on tv a couple times. That's a little creepy but now I always remember to pay attention during meetings and try to not do anything embarrassing. We'll see how that goes.
Today we are getting our bathtub re-glazed. You might not be excited about this but I can't wait! I have spent countless hours (minutes. whatever.) scrubbing the damn thing and it still doesn't look clean. Some dudes are coming over this afternoon to work their magic and then we'll have a sparkling like-new bathtub. The only problem is we can't use it for 48 hours. It's our only shower. Don't plan on stopping by this weekend, especially on Sunday, because we'll be smelly.
Let's see...what else...
OH! Transformers is being released on IMAX for a short time. I thought the makers of the movie were dumbasses for not making an IMAX version. Now I know that they are geniuses because everyone who already watched it at the regular theater will now pay again to see it at IMAX. Damn them! See you at the theater!!
