Jesse took the LSAT in late September. He recently received his score and he, of course, did very well. We were at the mall when he got his score. They email the scores and we were at the Apple store (computers, not produce) checking out macbooks and he checked his email from there. We were so excited and I'm so proud of him!
We went to Macy's so I could try on kick ass boots. I finally found some that would fit around my unusually large calves and I wanted to buy them but was a little worried about the price tag.
Jen: I don't know. They're kind of expensive.
Jesse: Baby it's all good because I'm a lawyer now.
Jen: Really? Because I thought you had to law school to be a lawyer. Huh.
Jesse: Call me "Your Honor." I just got a promotion.
Jen: Okay, Chief Justice, and may it please the court.
Is this what it is going to be like to be married to a lawyer?
And why do they say, "and may it please the court"? What does that mean??
Jesse emailed my (our) cousinCori, who is a public defender in Washington, DC. She emailed a good friend of hers who is the Associate Dean of Admissions at a top law school here in Michigan. Then Jesse got an email from the Associate Dean of Admissions at a top law school here in Michigan inviting him to apply to the school and she would waive his application fee. They seem to think that we indeed can afford for him to quit his job and go to law school full time at the same time I am in school full time.
Does that mean I won't be getting anymore kick ass boots?
Apparently it's all about me.
