I don't think I ever posted an update on my friend that was missing. Last week we found out she was at a hospital not too far from Detroit. I've been visiting her every couple days. It's been really difficult because she isn't doing well. It was a relief to know she was safe and not dead on the street somewhere but it was also heartbreaking because it is going to be a long time before she is stable again. But we're all hanging in there and I know I'm looking forward to the day that I can smile and laugh with her again.
Labor day weekend has been pretty low key. Just what I needed before school starts on Wednesday! Friday afternoon I met Katie in Ann Arbor for lunch. It was so much fun! We ate at Dominick's and we didn't even drink too much sangria. I haven't hung out on campus for a really long time so it was fun to see all the changes and to just chill with Katie. Yay!!
Yesterday Jesse and I decided to go have a nice dinner at one of our favorite Italian restaurants. It was yummy but took forever! We were at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours!! Our waiter was our friend, Sean, and he insisted on buying us dessert. We had already pigged out so I was pretty sure I was going to die if I ate another bite. But since it was free, we couldn't say no! And I ate some of it and didn't die. Whew!!
Tomorrow is errand-running day. Seems like I have a ton to do but I think I can get it done pretty quickly. I hope so because we have a Tigers game tomorrow night! And then school on Wednesday morning. Yikes!!
