Last weekend when Jesse and I went to GTC to get autographs from former Tigers players we went to lunch first in Mt. Clemens. The last time we went to GTC we found this little restaurant that had good food AND taught us to pray. This is a picture of the front of the menu.

And then there was this little street fair going on with lots of vendors and carnival rides. We didn't end up riding any rides or doing any shopping. We mostly walked around looking for an ATM. Didn't find one. But we did find this...

Perhaps I need to move to Mr. Clemens?
Monday afternoon I went to the Lansing area to meet with the reception hall place where Jesse and I will have our wedding reception. It was a nice place! My parents had found it and had booked it without me seeing it just because I'm lazy and they knew I'd never get around to it. Oh. I already told the skunk story.
Tuesday was so much fun! Joanna and her kids met my family and I at the Michigan Historical Center. The museum is in the same building as the state library where my dad used to work so I had been there before but it was a loooong time ago. I was a little worried that it would be boring and the kids would want to leave after 10 minutes but I worried for nothing! We all had a blast and were there for an hour and a half!
Here are some photos...
Perfect for a group of pacifists!

Me doing a historical pole dance. The best part was trying to get the kids to leave the room so we could take funny photos. The dude pole dancer was better than me. Hey. He got a ladder!

What kind of museum is this??

After lunch I totally invited myself along on Joanna's trip to the Capitol with the kids. This is the dome.
