Last weekend we went to Chicago to see the Tigs play the White Sox. It was an unfortunate game, and an unfortunate weekend for the Tigs. As you probably know, they got swept by the White Sox. The game we saw especially sucked because Contreras pitched an amazing game for the Sox. It was some of the best pitching I have ever seen and I kind of wanted to vomit. The good news is it was Elvis night at the park!
And in even better news, cousinseth really enjoys corndogs.
The rest of the weekend was spent recovering from the night of extensive beer drinking that occurred after the game.
I had a couple meetings for my field placement this week. I think it will be an interesting place to do my internship. We'll see.
Friday night we went to the Rangers vs. Tigs game. Tigs lost but it was nice to be back at Comerica. After the game we met some people at the Comet Bar for some cheap beer and karaoke. It ended up being a really big group of people from all different areas of life. Most of them were from the Second City cult but Julie and I survived anyway. I haven't even looked at the photos I took yet. I'm sure there are some gems and I'll post them when I get around to it.
Right now I'm watching the Tigs blow another big lead to the Rangers. So frustrating!
