I spent much of today at grad school orientation. Boy. What a bunch of fun that was. Can you see the sarcasm dripping from everywhere it is possible to drip from? I completely understand that new students need to have some kind of introduction to the program. I don't understand why the things they decided to introduce us to were the kinds of things that they should have screened for in admitting us to the program. If I don't know that it is important to write a good paper with proper grammar then maybe I shouldn't have been accepted in the first place. Oh. Maybe someone found my blog and could see that my grammar sucks ass and they decided to punish everyone.
It's all my fault.
The best part is I have to go back to be punished some more tomorrow. I wonder if anyone would notice if I had a bloody mary in my Nalgene bottle... Perhaps it is time to go flask shopping?
School starts soon. Guess it is time to get out of my no-job-summer mode. Bummer.
