I apologize to those of you who don't get the Ernie reference in the title of this post. Right now I cannot explain it but trust me, it's funny.
Julie arranged a lovely Belle Isle picnic for Memorial Day. Julie and Kristin stopped by Parker St. to pick up Jesse and I. Joel and Amanda came to the picnic after the Tigers game (second shut out in a row...grrr....). It was super nice to see Korin and Augie. They are a couple of the most down to earth and fun rock stars we know! And we know lots of rock stars. Brian came to hang out with us which was really cool because I haven't seen him in forever. Just a fun summer day on Belle Isle with great friends! It was ridiculously hot but we were right by the water so it didn't seem that bad.
Now it's 3:30AM and thanks to allergies I can't breathe which means I can't sleep. I think I need to go to the doctor and get some prescription drugs because the over-the-counter stuff just isn't working anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have health insurance so I don't think I can afford the office visit, let alone the prescription drugs! Even though it sucks to be awake right now, at least I get to watch Knight Rider on the SciFi Channel. Thank God for cable!
Hopefully the Benadryl will kick in soon...
