TJ Maxx is a wonderful place. I just went in search of clothes. I decided to look at purses and wallets too. Spring is a wonderful time for a new spring purse. I wasn't impressed by their selection until I saw the cutest little bag at the end of the row. I went and grabbed it because it was so cute that I was afraid someone else would get there before me. Of course I liked it. It was $172. That's just stupid. The whole point of shopping at TJ Maxx is getting a good deal. Of course $172 was a good deal but I decided I didn't want to pay that much for a cute spring purse. Especially since I don't have a job. Then I looked at wallets. My wallet is falling apart but I haven't found the right one to replace it. I can't just buy any wallet. So I found the right one. But it was $79. It was perfect. So cute. So Coach. But I practiced some self restraint and didn't buy it. Did I mention I don't have a job? The old (but really young) me would have gotten out the credit card and come home with a pretty perfect new wallet. The new (really old) me is at home without a pretty perfect new wallet considering driving back to TJ Maxx to buy the damn wallet.
I did get a really good deal on running shorts. I used to run in my underwear until I found out the person I live with likes that idea. Now I wear shorts.

You are so mature. You could be like some people I know and buy it, wrap it up and then put a birthday card to yourself on it and pretend that Jesse was so thoughtful! Surprise!
you are a genius!!
