baseball, rock and roll, bunny cake
Friday night we went to see the Tigers vs. Indians game. We rarely sit in our own seats because they are kind of far away. Last night we found two lovely seats in the lower level. After sitting for a few minutes two older couples sat behind us. One couple seemed to know a lot about Tigers baseball and they noticed that I was scoring the game. They were very friendly and we chatted a little bit. We were sitting there minding our own business like we do when all of a sudden we heard Danger! High Voltage by Electric Six blaring on the speakers. And when we looked up at the big screen there were little factoids about the Electric Six on the screen. We were very excited because we happen to know the colonel. The older couple behind us asked me if we had heard of the band. I told her that a friend of ours is in the band. She one-upped me and told me that their son is in the band. Wha? Huh? She then got on her cell phone to tell Tait Nucleus that she and dad were at Comerica and just heard Danger! High Voltage and the young lady sitting in front of them knows Zach. What a small world! I felt honored and privileged to be sitting so close to a rock star's mom and dad. And then it got even cooler when I heard her telling her friend how to make a bunny cake for Easter.
