no information meeting.

Today I got to leave work early to attend an MSW information meeting at Wayne State University. What a waste of time! I knew it was bad when I was sitting in the meeting thinking, "I'd rather be at work." The guy that ran the meeting was filling in for someone and even though he seemed to be friendly and nice, he didn't really have that much information for the information meeting. He was able to quote from the brochure. Unfortunately he answered most of the questions from the meeting attendees with, "Ummmm..I'm not really sure about that. If you would like to follow me back to my office after the meeting I have that information there." At first I figured his office is a library of MSW program application information. But now I suspect he just wanted to get a bunch of women in his office and this was the only way he could do it. I didn't go to his office after the meeting so I will never know. The other strange thing about this meeting is that people were there were two people there with their moms. It reminded me of kindergarten round up or something. Is that the thing where kids get signed up for kindergarten? I just remember hearing someone say something about that once. I thought it was funny. Anyway, a long time ago I posted about some chick's mom attending class for her when she was sick. Now it all makes sense.
