it's been a good day.

The strange part is that it's been a good day at work! This morning I received news that one of the families I work with was accepted into a housing program. Yay!! Then I went to court with another family whose former landlord was trying to get more money out of them, even though she already took them to court for eviction and won. After waiting for two hours, the magistrate looked at the case and said the landlord had 56 days to amend her petition and since it has been more than 56 days, the motion was denied. Another yay!! Even though I worked in child welfare for about a year and had to testify in court at least once a week, I still hate going to court and speaking in front of the judge. Maybe it's because I worked in child welfare that I still feel this way. Hmmm... Anyway, then I was supposed to meet with my supervisor for our weekly supervision but she called and cancelled. That was probably the best part of my day!

Tonight I have to go to Michael's to pick up some clay stuff to add to my golf hole. I will post photos when it is done but I want to wait until after the golf outing just in case someone that will be there is reading this. Yeah. I doubt it too. But just in case...I want it to be a surprise.
