All of the village talk today is about how some asshole journalist from the Detroit News reported on a dude that died in a carjacking and wrote that the car was dumped in the village. The first email was this:
"Can someone tell the Detroit Police Department (see Detroit News Article about Ronald Weaver murder today) that Iroquois and Medbury is not in Indian Village? They need to have the newspaper run a correction. We have enough happening without folks making up stuff."
and then there was:
"The journalist who wrote the story, "Anti-crime activist dies in carjacking", is Joel Kurth. I called his direct line and left a message in his voicemail requesting that a correction be printed in the Thursday edition of The Detroit News. In addition, I also asked him to call me directly to confirm."
People. Come on now. A man was murdered. Is the misprint really that important? Sometimes I wish I had the time to worry about this shit. No. I don't. I hope someone suggests a parade to protest the misprint! I might take part in that one!! Where's my violin??
