Sunday at Comerica Park is Kid's Day. Kids get to sign up to win a bunch of shit and they get to run the bases after the game. Pretty much since we met, Jesse and I have been plotting to kidnap us some kids to run the bases with. Then we would return them. My niece and nephew came to the game with us on Sunday and their parents were kind enough to let Jesse and I borrow them. We got on the field and then the kids got to run the bases and the adults got to stand there and watch. It was cool to just be on the field.
While we were standing in line to run the bases the game ended and floods of people were pushing past us. One of the people was the mullet dude. He was no longer wearing the big ol' cast. But he was wearing a big ol' tether. I do realize I am a big asshole hypocrite for posting the photo of him after hating on the village people for posting the homeless dude's photo. At least mine was funny!
Last night we started to go to the Pat Benatar concert. We stopped at Big Buck Brewery for dinner and when we left it was raining. We decided that lawn tickets and rain weren't worth Pat Benatar. Maybe next time... Instead we went home and watched Six Feet Under. I love that show!
Is it time to go home yet??
