projects.

No, I'm not going to talk about poor people housing. Hahahaaaa... Sorry. Just a little homeless humor. I know, it's not that funny.

I've been working on ripping all of my CD's onto the music server Jesse set up for me. I'm almost done and thought I would dump what I do have done onto my ipod. It's going to take forever because it has to add 1873 songs. I realized that I think I have more than the 20GB my little ipod will hold! I hate having to pick and choose. That will have to be a project for another day.

This weekend I worked for a long time on my golf hole. Then I stopped. I need to start working on it again but maybe it is more of a weekend project. Maybe? I'm trying to figure out how to do a big papier mache hole but I'm just not that creative.

Those are my two projects at home.

I guess I worked on one project at work. A guy I help at the shelter told me that his cousin was murdered yesterday. He was obviously upset and said he didn't have a suit or anything nice to wear to the funeral. I told him I would try to help him get a suit or something from one of the thrift shops or one of the clothing banks around town. I called one of the thrift shops that accepts donated items and then sells them. I explained his situation and asked if there was any way they could help him out and not charge him. They said NO. Oh I was pissed. I HATE it when agencies take donations and then turn around and sell them. I know they use the money for the programs but it just seems like they should be a little bit flexible. This particular agency makes me mad anyway because they claim to be religious and then refuse to help people they don't think deserve their help. For example, they have a family shelter but won't shelter couples that are not married. Anyway, tomorrow I think I'm going to figure out a way to get my accounting department to approve some petty cash for me and I'm taking this guy shopping. He said he's going to try the free clothing places in the morning so maybe he'll have some luck.
