This morning I went to The Somerset Collection on a mission to buy a bag. It's a hoity-toity mall in Troy where I just don't belong. My car was by far the shittiest car in the parking lot! I mean, my car isn't nice but it's not that bad. Maybe it is. Anyway, there are lots of fancy stores in this mall and it was at this mall where I first had my dream of being a trophy wife when I grow up. I saw lots of old ladies wearing tons of make up and plastic hair. Interesting. I took the skywalk to the other part of the mall and watched an old lady mall walker. At first I didn't realize she was a mall walker because she was walking on the moving sidewalks. Then when she got to the end she made a u-turn and got on the moving sidewalk heading the other way. I wanted to yell, "CHEATER!! CHEATER!!" at her and tell her that she doesn't get credit for the entire distance if she was on a moving sidewalk. She was also wearing the classic mall walker outfit. If you aren't sure what that is, you can ask my friend, Phiiiiiil. I left the cheating mall walker alone.
I did find a fun bag at Tumi. It will be perfect for taking everything I need to the All-Star game. I suppose I didn't need such a fancy bag but I really like it. One of my many addictions involves purchasing bags. Handbags, messenger bags, briefcase type bags, oh, and wallets. It's a little (a lot) ridiculous and it's a good thing I have a kind boyfriend who hasn't made me stop. Yet. Part of the problem is that I have rather expensive tastes in bags.
I didn't sleep well last night so I'm thinking I might need a nap. Earlier I actually pulled a couple weeds in the back yard. And then I put out some top soil. It's kind of gross so I hope it dries out and gets better. I need to plant the one cherry tomato plant that survived the spring!
