This morning was Fanfest fun. Tons of baseball fans hanging out doing baseball stuff. Jesse took this lovely photo of me hanging out with wooden statues of Bob Cluck and Lance Parrish. Then there was kick ass monster truck. I need a paint job like that for my car. When we left we walked down the riverfront a little bit and said hello to the Coast Guard. They have some big ass guns.
For some reason I didn't feel all that safe. Isn't the last thing the city of Detroit needs is more guns? But I guess someone has to guard us from the Canadians. Damn Canadians and their tax-free casino. When I got home I checked my email and I had a ton of emails from Joanna! I was so relieved.
Now I think I will take a nap before we go to the Homerun Derby tonight. It's really hot outside! I believe I heard it will be 93 degrees. Yuck. I hate sweat. And I think there will be a ton of people there. Hopefully there won't be that many so I don't have to sit next to someone I don't know and get their nasty leg or arm sweat on me.

My own sweat is gross enough but the idea of someone else's sweat touching me makes me gag a little. Remember what Mary Beth said, "If it is wet and it didn't come from your body, DON'T TOUCH IT." Good advice.
