baseball scorecard

Today I decided that I would learn how to score a baseball game. Joel bought a score book for me for my birthday and it has been sadly empty. I downloaded some instructions from the internet and came home ready to score the Tigers game. Then Jesse told me the game wasn't going to be televised. We found that Comcast Local was broadcasting a Northern League game with the Sioux Falls Canaries playing the St. Paul Saints. If you have a moment to spare, you should read this book about the St. Paul Saints. So I decided to watch and score. After the fourth inning I realized that this game was not being shown live. Imagine my confusion when after the 4th inning, they were suddenly playing the 6th inning. Wha? Huh? No 5th inning? And then during the top of the 7th inning there was a pitching change after 1 out so it went to commercial. When the game started again they were playing the bottom of the 7th. Now that the game is over I realized they were editing the game so it would end by 10PM. Assholes.

We have tickets to see the Twins play the Tigers tomorrow night so hopefully I will have a better game scoring experience.
